Amanda Seales formerly Amanda Diva was born in Los Angeles California on July 1, 1981. She is a Comedian DJ, a Comedian and creator of content. After moving to Orlando in the age of 8, she went to Dr. Phillips High School before going to SUNY Purchase for undergrad then acquiring her master's degree in African American studies with a concentration in hip hop from Columbia University. She later became well-known to the public thanks to her performance in the role of VJ Amanda Seales, the main character of hip-hop on MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. While working as an artist on the recording stage and a spoken word poet in 2011 she changed her name to Amanda Diva back to Amanda Seales also returning to television and soon after adding stand up comedian in her list of credits. The CEO is DivaWorks Inc her production company under which she performs and produces smart funny content on the screen and stage. She's extremely involved in initiatives that seek to inspire young women and stop racial discrimination and is also the social media spokesperson on behalf of Grenada W.I. where her mother was born.
