Katherine Heigl has revealed her childhood in a white bubble and how this realization affected how she cared for her adoptive, multiracial kids. The "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress revealed in a recent interview she was told that when it came to skin tone, she didn't care the way she looked however, after speaking about her sister's age, whom she taken in to South Korea, she realized how differently society viewed the two of them. "I inquired of my sister, Meg, if she had been treated one way when she was walking around with our parents and in a different manner when she went out alone without them. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She confessed that she was mad and felt it was necessary to use her anger to help her children. Heigl as well as her long-time husband -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old.
